Are you a doula?
No, I am not a doula.
I am a Registered Nurse
(RN, BSN) with over 20 years of pediatric and emergency experience. That means I bring a medical background and the ability to recognize early warning signs of health concerns—something a postpartum doula cannot provide.

Do you stay in the same room as the baby?
Most often, yes. I can stay in your baby’s nursery or nearby so I can respond quickly. If you prefer, I can also monitor from a room nearby with a monitor in place.

Will you wake me up if my baby needs me?
Yes—if your baby needs to nurse or if you’d prefer to be awakened for certain situations, I’ll follow your instructions closely. My goal is to give you peace of mind while honoring your parenting preferences.
